Violinist Catherine Cosbey will perform with the Cecilia Quartet as second violinist from June to September 2017, substituting for violinist Sarah Nematallah who will be on maternity leave.

Ms. Cosbey is an extremely accomplished Canadian violinist known for her work as a founding member of the critically acclaimed Linden String Quartet. She has won prizes at the 2009 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and the 2011 Premio Paolo Borciani Competition, and has performed across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Ms. Cosbey is also the Artistic Director of the Regina Chamber Music Festival, a week-long chamber music festival that works in collaboration with Regina Summer Strings to bring inspiring concerts and instruction to her hometown community in Regina, Saskatchewan.
