The CSQ’s latest CD featuring works by Felix Mendelssohn has been nominated for a 2016 JUNO Award in the category of Classical Album of the Year!

“It’s an honour to be nominated alongside such incredible musicians!” said Rachel Desoer after hearing the announcement at the JUNO Awards press conference in Toronto on February 2nd.

Presented annually by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Science (CARAS), the JUNO Awards is Canada’s premier awards show and the Canadian music industry’s most prestigious recognition for excellence in recorded music. Calgary will be the host city for this year’s JUNO Awards, which will take place March 28 to April 3 2016 during a week-long celebration that culminates in a broadcast gala on April 3.
