CSQ Welcomes Violinist Catherine Cosbey for Winter and Spring 2017!

The CSQ welcomes violinist Catherine Cosbey who will perform with the quartet as first violinist from January to May 2017, substituting for violinist Min-Jeong Koh who will be on maternity leave.

Ms. Cosbey is an extremely accomplished Canadian violinist known for her work as a founding member of the critically acclaimed Linden String Quartet. She has won prizes at the 2009 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and the 2011 Premio Paolo Borciani Competition, and has performed across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Ms. Cosbey is also the Artistic Director of the Regina Chamber Music Festival, a week-long chamber music festival that works in collaboration with Regina Summer Strings to bring inspiring concerts and instruction to her hometown community in Regina, Saskatchewan.
